3 Parishes Festival Programme

TO EVERYONE IN WESTERHAM, BRASTED, SUNDRIDGE, IDE HILL AND TOYS HILL

Welcome to our Three Parishes Festival Programme!  Everyone is invited to the Festival with a mix of events for people of all ages and interests. We are celebrating the rich life of our communities and also giving informal opportunities to explore Christian faith and its relevance today.

On 27 September there’s an afternoon at Brasted Recreation Ground for everyone. There will be football (with teams from each Parish!), races, free sideshows and a tug of war with teas and refreshments and the Orpington Brass and Woodwind Band.  It will be a great afternoon and the special guest is Gary Piper, Chaplain to Fulham FC.

Other festival events include a Brewery Trip, a Pub Quiz, an evening on Christian Art and a women’s night out too. In the very varied programme we hope you’ll find something that appeals to you. There’ll be informal coffee mornings in homes in each Parish – do ask for the leaflet with details of these or call the Festival Office on 01959 561330. There’ll be a separate programme of Youth Events too.  Many local groups have also planned festival events for their members.

Although initiated by the Parish Churches, the Festival has been made possible through the efforts of many individuals and groups across the Parishes - for which we are very grateful. Please do come and join in and bring family, neighbours and friends. We look forward to seeing you.

With best wishes
